An outstanding quality 19th century French kingwood
and rosewood work/sewing table. The shaped top quarter
veneered with decorative rosewood banding finished with
ormulu edging. The lid opens to reveal a rosewood veneered
interior and mirror to the underside, an adjustable sliding tray
and pull out drawer/pouch. All the ssides veneered in kingwood
and crossbanded in rosewood continuing down to four rosewood
cbariole legs. Ormulu mountsall round and the legs terminating
in sabot.
