A rare and unusual Arts & Crafts twin
pedestal mahogany kneehole desk of
small proportions. Set on a plinth base
and consisting of a frieze drawer flanked
on each side by three graduated drawers
with tear drop handles. Original red leather
top with carved mouldings. Extensive stylised
maple leaf & trailing creeper carvings all around
so the desk could stand centrally.
Privately sourced and reputed to have nautical history.
