An unusual 18th century French folk art hand wrought
iron game rack with an outer ring of eight hooks,
and overhead bird decoration to each. suspended
from a rod.
Game racks were used to age pheasants, rabbits,
or any other small game, after the hunt.
This would make the most perfect pot rack in a small
kitchen. Could be used to dry herbs or flowers.
