An early 20th century metal travel case formerly belonging 
to Vere Brabazon Ponsonby, 9th Earl of Bessborough GCMG
( 1880 1956 ).  Hea was an Anglo-Irish businessman and
politician who, after being admitted to the Privy Council on
20th March 1931 was sworn in as Governor General of Canada on 4th April.
The case bears the remnants of a Canadian Pacific shipping label
and personal brass plate.
